Owen Garden has a diverse selection of trees and shrubs that thrive in the sand hills area. If you’re not sure what will grow well in your yard, let us help. You can bring a picture of the area and, we will help you with selecting the tree and or shrub that will work best for you.

We select our tree and shrub nurseries within a 50 miles radius of our store. We actually go and pick out what we sell, ensuring a quality plant.
There are several reasons we do this:

  • Locally grown trees and shrubs are accumulated to this local environment.
  • These nurseries employee local workers
  • The products made by local nurseries support local churches, schools, civic organizations, and professional and natural groups.
  • There is a lower carbon footprint due to reduced delivery distances.
  • During some seasons we purchase plant material from outside this radius, when we do it is in response to our needs and non availability in our area.
